Privacy Policy (Datenschutzerklärung)

This site is the documentation of an open-source project. It has no user accounts, no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies, and it loads every script, style and font from this site itself — nothing is fetched from third-party servers while you read it.

Hosting by GitHub Pages

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data to GitHub's servers — in particular your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser's user agent. GitHub uses this data to deliver the site and to keep it secure, and may store it in server logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: there is a legitimate interest in delivering the documentation reliably and securely. Data may be transferred to the USA; GitHub, Inc. participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details are in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Data stored in your browser

If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it. It never leaves your device and is needed only for that function (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG). The benchmark dashboards load their data into your browser and process it there; nothing is sent back.

Pages link to GitHub, NuGet and other sites. Those sites only receive data once you follow a link, and their own privacy policies apply from then on.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise them, write to the email address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
